Today, Junior and Senior Infants walked to Bandon Grammar school to visit their polytunnel. The children were able to harvest some lettuce and look at the other plants and vegetables growing.
We then ate some tasty frittata with ingredients grown in the polytunnel. We planted some sunflower seeds to bring back to our school and ended the wonderful visit with some Easter eggs. We all had such a lovely time in Bandon Grammar school and can't wait to come back.
